5 Best Oyster Deals in San Diego

The seafood in San Diego never disappoints and with so many great spots, it can be hard to decide what to have. We have been on a bit of an oyster kick lately and have been ordering them just about anywhere that serves them. However, oysters are not meant to be eaten in ones and twos, they’re meant to be consumed liberally by the half dozens and dozens. When the price of each oyster starts pushing past $1.50, it can become a pretty expensive appetizer (or even full meal if that’s the way you roll). Luckily, we’ve founds some great deals around town and if you hit up the right places at the right time, a dozen delicious oysters wont set you back too much. Here’s our pick for the top oyster deals in San Diego.

Gang Kitchen

Gang Kitchen is located on 6th Avenue right on the edge of Gaslamp and East Village and just around the corner from Petco Park. Brought to you by the same owners as Basic Pizza, the space is similar to Basic with industrial accents and large open air rooms. The Asian Fusion food is delicious and not too far out there like some others. If you are interested in more than just oysters, then definitely try their bacon fried rice!
