Altitude at the Marriott

What Altitude Sky Lounge is Like

Altitude Sky Lounge is a rooftop bar and lounge offering panoramic views of downtown San Diego, Petco Park, the bay and Coronado. It is definitely one of the coolest spots in downtown and by far the best view from any rooftop bar in San Diego. In the lounge, you’ll find comfortable patio sofas with tables, chairs encircling a large fire ring, and a reasonably priced, fully stocked bar. When I say reasonably priced, I mean for downtown prices. A beer is going to run you $6-7 and a cocktail will be $7+ depending on what you order. With Southwest facing views and the wonderful gas fire pit, Altitude is great for sunsets. It can get a little packed up there for Padres Games, but usually once the game starts the crowd dies down a bit. Unless you bring binoculars, you wont really be able to make out much of what is going on down on the field. This spot is a great place to take friends from out of town or a date for drinks.
