These Flower Fields are where both locals and tourists alike enjoy a nice spring day by taking photos and eating fresh Carlsbad strawberries. If you are looking for that perfect Instagram photo or somewhere to appreciate the spring season, the Carlsbad Flower Fields are the ideal spot.
More about the Flower Fields
The Flower Fields are only open when the flowers are in full bloom, which makes sense because you’re there to view the colorful blossoms. The fields open in March and close in May, so they are open for only a short period during the year. General admission is $12 which is a little pricey, but they do have discounted tickets for children and seniors. Inside, there are food stands with various tasty items. Sometimes, usually on the weekends, bands or guest singers play music which adds a nice vibe to the outdoor area. This place is totally kid friendly. There is ample space for them to run around, flower mazes, and wagon rides (at an additional cost).
